Sånne som oss / People like us.
Is a ongoing series of textile works "Like Us," which is mainly based on embroidery and spray painting. Tegson has been working on this series since 2018. The contrast between softcore and hardcore was the inspiration for further research on how to talk about hard topics in a soft material. Both graffiti and embroidery share a common history in being popularly rooted and excluded historically, which has been Tegson's main motivation for working with this.
